Game Time

About 4 months ago I decided it would be pretty cool to make a game for the app store..

So… This being totally new to me I thought I’d share my progress on here.

I’m totally addicted to my iPhone and my kids have an iPad so there is always games being played in our house. Up until a few months ago creating a game or an app wasn’t something I’d seriously thought about.

However after reading an article on game creation I had a bit of a ‘Light Bulb’ moment :  )  How cool would it be to make some games and get them on the app store. Even better what if you could make some money in the process.

I know there are loads out there and this isn’t a new thing BUT.. I thought it would be a load of fun to have a go and share what happens.

I’ve spent the last few months researching and learning stuff and putting together the right team of people to help me with this venture. Keeping it real… I have no clue about game programming but that doesn’t matter.

I’ve always been a total expert in ‘Having a go’  :  )   All I had to do is assemble the best people around me that know how to do the fancy stuff, leaving me to focus on the fun parts.

Such as, coming up with the ideas and testing things out.

So.. We have some projects now on the go and here is the important part for YOU.

I’m going to be sharing ALL the important facts. Such as,

How much each project ends up costing.

Updates on how much its making.

The whole lot, good and bad.

Loads more to come on this and its going to be a big focus in 2012.
